Count words and characters in the browser
Paste drafts, posts, or notes to see word and character counts, line and paragraph totals, a rough sentence estimate, and reading time at about 200 words per minute. Nothing is sent to a server.
- Sentence count uses simple punctuation splits (not perfect for abbreviations)
- Paragraphs are blocks separated by a blank line
- Use "Copy summary" to paste stats into another app
